PJ Library
PJ Library offers the gift of free, high quality, and award-winning Jewish books each month to children ages 6 months through 8 years who live in Dayton. These books are a gift from the community to celebrate Jewish culture, values, and tradition, in the hope that these stories will become cherished parts of each child’s collection of books. PJ Library in Dayton holds regular programs and events that connect PJ Library families to each other throughout the year. Sign up today at PJLibrary.org.
PJ Our Way
PJ Our Way offers the gift of exceptional books with Jewish themes to kids ages 8½-11 – books that they choose themselves! Kids who sign up for PJOW in Dayton can access a safe and interactive website where they get to choose their own book each month. PJOW in Dayton empowers kids to help design programs and events for their families and peers. Sign up today at PJOurWay.org.
PJ Grandparents
PJ Library Grandparents is a program unique to Dayton where grandparents have the chance to come together, in a chavurah style environment to discuss and learn about PJ Library resources available to them. A variety of topics and issues are discussed that help grandparents use PJ Library as a way to connect with grandchildren, whether they live in Dayton or are out of town.
PJ Library Radio
In addition to the free books that PJ Library sends to more than 180,000 children in the United States and Canada each month, children and families will now be able to listen to the best in Jewish kids music, for free. The new service, PJ Library Radio, can be streamed at pjlibraryradio.com, the PJ Library Radio app (available for download on iTunes or from the Google Play store), or TuneIn Radio (Sonos, Xbox, Roku, Echo).
PJ Library programs are supported locally by the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. And yes … PJ stands for Pajamas!
