The JCRC is the central public affairs arm of the organized Jewish community. It represents Dayton's Jewish community on issues that impact the rights and protection of Jews as individuals and as a community, here and abroad.
The JCRC seeks to establish, through deliberation, the consensus of the local organized Jewish community on public policy issues and to present this consensual position to the general community and public officials.
Council members and other volunteers coordinate with Jewish Federation staff to promote Jewish and pluralistic democratic values and needs through social action.
The JCRC is a department of the Jewish Federation.
