Connecting Families and Children to Jewish Dayton
PJ Library and PJ Our Way come to you each month, with a high-quality, expertly-selected, age-appropriate book or CD in your mailbox and family-friendly ideas and events in your inbox. PJ Library is a FREE program brought to you by The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and local philanthropists. Since the program arrived here in 2006, PJ Library has sent out over 16,100 books to Jewish children in Dayton, and that number grows each month!
You'll have the opportunity to connect with other families like you at programs throughout the year provided by partner agencies and congregations around the community. We have programs for parents, kids, families; even grandparents can join in the fun! We're sure to have several programs every year that you will find exciting and near your home. Plus, we'll add variety to the books your child wants to read over and over (and over and over)!
PJ Library is just part of what The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton does to strengthen Jewish life and create connections in our community. We offer dynamic and meaningful experiences for families with young or pre-teen children, and help them create personally meaningful connections to our community. The Jewish Federation welcomes the participation of interfaith couples and families, and people of all abilities, backgrounds and sexual orientations.
Sign up today and tell your friends. PJ Library books will start arriving in your mailbox soon.
PJ Library is available to Jewish children living in Dayton between the ages of 6 months and 8 years old. PJ Our Way offers the next chapter, and is available to children between the ages of 8 and 11 years old.
