Learning about the past to pave the way for the future

Dayton's unique Jewish history is intrinsically tied to the Federation and its Agencies. For over 100 years, Dayton's Jewish culture has worked through the Federation to provide resources for the Dayton community, from assistance for the Great Flood of 1913, to having open arms for Jewish refugees throughout the 20th century; from ensuring local Holocaust survivors have a voice, to holding up their experiences on a national level; our history is rich with activism, dedication, and compassion.
